Currently listening to: ” Dont u evah” by Spoon

Saw “Up in the Air” the other day and eye thought it was a very deliberate and excellent film. The former description a reference to the zeitgeist capturing motives of George Clooney & Co; the latter being the ensuing results (P.S: very well placed soundtrack)

Truly had a rousing good time and unequivocally my favorite broadway experience on Nov 28th!

Something to look forward to in February.

The response we had was amazing, with a fantastic range of designs from different ages and different countries around the world. These are the final 14, chosen from the thousands of different designs by a team of judges which included Umbro designers Stuart Semple and Stewart Scott-Curran, and Esquire’s art director David McKendrick. Initially we planned to have 11 winners, but the points system used by the judges to pick their favourites meant that we ended up with four designs tied in 11th place!”

She has released a book and opened an exhibition featuring “tarted-up tots” with elaborate couture costumes, hair, and make up, Anderson explores the <a href="http://www.highglitz.com"target="blank">“high glitz” realm of child pageantry. I felt sick looking at these images, so i ‘guess’ the photographer did her job (not sure). The <a href="http://flavorwire.com/45808/daily-dose-pick-high-glitz"target="blank">video (bottom of page) makes me feel otherwise…as they seem to be encouraging it.

“Portrait of a studio in 1000 images.
by 2×4, New York

it is what it is was published in conjunction with the eponymous exhibition at the Eye of Gyre gallery in Tokyo in 2009. The book features 1000 by-products from the life of a studio, un-narrated and crudely arranged along a typical design trajectory from the earliest concepts, sketches, doodles and diagrams through the process of making, modeling, producing and, finally, delivering work into the world. A blurry telling of a blurry story, it is what it is attempts to locate a master narrative in the chaotic, quotidian process of making design, and to reveal how what we think about evolves into what we make.”

Super artist, Sarah Oppenheimer updates her site with new works. Absolutely love her stuff!

“The focus of Sarah’s work is the feedback loop between constructed spaces and pedestrian motion. She studies how the built environment and human behavior reciprocally impact each other; most recently, the way that the visual progression of the human gaze is mapped by the contours of a given space. Sarah opens apertures in existing architectures, modifying the modular units that make up our standardized urban world. These apertures create new lines of sight within the space of display, and can function as both “holes” and “screens.”
