Saw “Up in the Air” the other day and eye thought it was a very deliberate and excellent film. The former description a reference to the zeitgeist capturing motives of George Clooney & Co; the latter being the ensuing results (P.S: very well placed soundtrack)
Truly had a rousing good time and unequivocally my favorite broadway experience on Nov 28th!

We were introduced to Malick Sidibé, a Malian photographer noted for his black-and-white studies in the 1960s of Bamako, Mali. His striking portraits are a vivid mirror of African culture at that time. Sidibé was awarded the Venice Biennale’s Golden Lion for lifetime achievement award in 2007. It was the first time it had been presented to a photographer.

Preserve is on going project to produce a permanent visual record of hand painted building signage. Many of these are being erased from our cityscapes either being worn away by weather over time, covered as buildings have been repainted, disappearing as buildings are demolished or replaced with modern signage equivalents.

Supor & Son, companies that worked on retrieving and transporting the airplane. Check out his site and don’t miss the “american reclamation” gallery.
